How to Get Started
Introductory Private Lesson
The Introductory Private Lesson will allow you to experience our quality of dance instruction and assess your specific dance goals. This lesson is 45 minutes and cost is $40 for couples or individuals. No partner necessary.
Private Lesson
The Private Lesson is meant to reach your dance goals. The style of dance and patterns are specific to your skill level and desired outcome. This lesson is 45 minutes and the cost ranges from $65-$85/lesson. Private lessons can be taken as an individual or couple.
Group Classes
Our Group Classes are a great way to reinforce the skills learned in your private lessons and introduce new dance patterns with repetition. Each group class is 45 minutes and cost is approximately $10-15/person. Our class levels range from beginner to advanced.
Dance Parties & Practice Sessions
The best way to test your dance skills is to join us at our Dance Parties and Practice Sessions. This is where the training wheels come off and you take a partner on the floor and drive through the traffic of other dancers while keeping time with the music.

Our Mission
Our mission is to build confidence and share the many benefits of ballroom dancing through teaching and training all ages and levels to reach their social and/or competitive dance goals.
Joel Callahan
Joel Callahan began dancing at the age of 15 with his high school ballroom team in San Diego, CA. His dancing became a career when he joined an Arthur Murray studio shortly after graduating in 2003. Over the next 9 years he worked under both the Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire franchises as a top teacher and studio manager and completed 10 teacher certification exams. He has competed around the country in pro-am American Smooth and American Rhythm for over 15 years and professionally with his wife in American Smooth for 5 years.
Kimberly Callahan
Kimberly began her dance journey around 7 years old with a focus in tap, jazz and ballet. By high school, her love of music and dance inspired her to try a variety of dance styles such as hip hop, contemporary, cabaret and ballroom dancing. It was the challenge and uniqueness of partnership dancing that ignited her passion for this dance genre. After college, she was offered an instructor position at a local ballroom dance studio, where she met her husband Joel, and was able to turn her love of dance into a career. Kimberly is grateful to have been able to work and study with world dance champions and top coaches to train in American Smooth and Rhythm. She has taught for over 15 years and competed professionally in American Smooth with her husband.
Our Story
Joel and Kimberly met while teaching at their local ballroom dance studio. In 2011 they were married, had two amazing children, and together they opened their own Fred Astaire studio in 2013. After five years of owning their studio, they left the franchise and rebranded into an independent studio and continued to offer both social and competitive ballroom dance instruction for over 8 years before relocating to Clarksville.
